Special Events

Throughout the year, the students at Tadpole Village Preschool are lucky enough to participate in many different special events.  A few of the exciting events that we have to offer annually are our fall Meet and Greet, Frog-toberfest, Halloween Parade, Thanksgiving Feast, Holiday Show, Special Person Day, Parent Picnic, Graduation Ceremonies and so much more.

Fall Season:

October at Tadpole Village Preschool means fall things: Halloween and Fire Prevention and Awareness. We begin the month with a visit from the Millstone Township Fire Department. The children all get to see and tour the fire truck, and are taught lessons in fire safety. The end of October brings many Halloween festivities. The preschool has its very own Halloween parade, followed by pumpkin picking on the playground and hayrides for each class on our beautiful 86 acre property.

The annual Thanksgiving Day Feast in November is always a treat! Our children and our families come to our preschool to share a Thanksgiving meal with their class. Mmm, Mmm, Mmm!!!

Winter Season:

We always look forward to our holiday show in December. Unlike anything you have ever seen before, all classes perform songs in our gymnasium which is transformed into a mini theatre for this event! It’s a great photo opportunity, with visits from Santa, Frosty the snowman and other famous friends!

February means Dental Awareness month at the Tadpole Village Preschool. Our children learn many aspects of oral hygiene, including how to properly brush and care for your teeth on a daily basis.

Spring Season:

With spring comes two special days for all of our parents.

Mother's Day and Father’s Day in June are celebrated on a special Sunday. On this weekend day of fun, we open our facility to our Mom's, Dad’s, and their children as they enjoy a morning of boating, mini golf, tennis, basketball and more!

Late Spring:

Our school year ends with a Stepping Up ceremony for our two and three year old students as they “Step Up” to their next year in school. The Graduation ceremony for the four, five and six year olds is a site to behold. The children will walk down the aisle wearing a cap and gown, receive their diplomas and sing songs live on stage! Don’t forget your tissues as our proud parents, family members and teachers watch this once in a lifetime experience! Our graduation ceremony is followed by a celebratory barbeque.
